The Five Year Plan
Cothill House aims to continue to provide a first-class education for all its boys, whilst developing its offer to families and upgrading facilities.
This document sets out our recent achievements and outlines our primary objectives for the next five years.
Achieved in the last five years:
Built a new state of the art boarding house at Cothill.
Built a new classroom block with integrated and extended Learning Support facilities.
Further increased the IT provision throughout the school, including full migration of the IT platform.
Enhanced PSHE provision, including E-Safety.
Continued to enhance the variety and quality of our sporting provision, including our ties with local sporting clubs.
New website and fixtures platform launched to improve communication with parents.
Planned in the next five years:
Improve facilities for all boys to live on site at Cothill House.
Introduce a gentler transition into boarding education for boys in Years 4 and 5.
More comprehensive transport links to support parents.
Enhance IT to include further integration into teaching and learning.
Continue to develop and enrich curriculum, with integrated mindfulness.
Provide more opportunities for drama and the performing arts across year groups.
Build a new sports centre and promote further overseas and domestic tours.
Create new and better ways to facilitate communication between school and parents.
Decrease the school’s carbon footprint and recycle more.
Improve reception and office area.
Complete final phase of science lab refurbishment.
Continue refurbishment, modification and improvement of whole campus.
Refurbish and improve staff accommodation.
