On Thursday, 13 March, M1 headed up to London to catch some sights, art and culture. Having taken the tube from Shepherd's Bush, a first time experience for Fee, we walked around St Paul's and then across a breezy Millennium Bridge, but failed to find Jake Windham's padlock left last year. Having enjoyed a picnic in the Turbine Hall, we wandered around the Tate Modern enjoying the Picassos, optical illusions and the installation of swings. In the afternoon, we strolled down Thames to the main event 'Much Ado About Nothing' at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The boys loved this modern and engaging interpretation of this classic comic tale of love, jealousy and mistaken identity. The boys behaved brilliantly, and appreciated and embraced all aspects of the day - the culture, art and architecture.
