Directions to Cothill House

From London

Take the M40 towards Oxford, joining the A40 at Junction 8. Take the Oxford ring road, following signs for the A34 and Newbury. At the A34 junction, go straight across the roundabout, following signs to Wootton and Abingdon along the A4183. At the top of Hinksey Hill, take the first right across the top of Boars Hill. After two miles, turn left and immediately right at the offset crossroads (next to a Harley-Davidson garage), along Honeybottom Lane to Cothill. The entrance to the school car park is on the right, through the gateway opposite 'The Merry Miller' public house, which is on your left.

From the A34 North

Come off the A34 at signs to the A4074 and Cowley. Go three-quarters of the way round the roundabout over the A34 and follow as above, from 'signs to Wootton and Abingdon along the A4183...'

From the A34 South

Take the Abingdon South junction and at the roundabout take the A415 towards Witney. After 400 yards, turn right to Gozzard's Ford and Cothill. Take the third turning to the right, just before 'The Black Horse' public house, down Blackhorse Lane, to Cothill. At the T-junction, turn right and go through the sharp S-bend and past the row of cottages and turn sharp left through the gate into the car park entrance. 'The Merry Miller' public house, on your right, is opposite the entrance.

From the South-West

From the A420 to Oxford, turn right soon after a stretch of dual carriageway, to Frilford Heath, Tubney and Cothill. Follow signs to Cothill and then follow as above, from 'go through the sharp S-bend...'

To the Headmaster's Entrance

From London & the A34 North

As above, but pass 'The Merry Miller' public house on the left, and the Headmaster's entrance is 200 yards on the right, exiting a sharp S-bend.

From the South

As above, but at the T-junction, turn left and immediately right into the Headmaster's entrance.

From the South-West

As above, but before Cothill village, the Headmaster's entrance is on the left, immediately after the School playing fields.
